STIR’s Plan for Opening
STIR will open soon after months of planning, construction, and hard work. We will only open because we are confident that we can do right by our guests and staff. STIR operates in accordance with the high standards that we set for ourselves. Following our mission of every guest, every time, our team strives to create a superior dining experience for each guest. In this particular moment, that means taking precautions to safeguard everyone’s well-being.
STIR will follow state and federal recommendations for operating safely. There will be modifications to what would be our normal operating procedures which include:
The number of guests in the restaurant will be limited to 50% of normal seating capacity
Tables will be at least 6 feet apart, and social distancing will be enforced
Parties will be limited to a maximum of ten people
Guest will be required to wear face coverings to enter the restaurant
Menus will be accessible via a QR code on each table. Guests can use the QR code to browse menus on their phones or request a single-use printed menu
Open-air dining is available on our large patio. During nice weather, we will roll up our industrial garage doors and let in the fresh air
All restaurant employees will be temperature checked at the start of each shift. Anyone displaying any symptoms will be placed on immediate sick leave
Sanitizer stations will be available throughout the restaurant
Condiments will be single-use
Other changes to standard operating procedures
For guests who do not feel comfortable dining out yet, we invite you to enjoy delivery and takeout from STIR. Delivery and curbside pickup will be available daily for lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends. We will also offer off-premises catering and bar service. Please consider us for lunch at the office or dinner at home.
All of us at STIR cannot wait to host you for craft cocktails, fresh oysters, scratch-made food, and dining on the patio. We are eager to share our passion for great food and cocktails with our neighbors in Charlotte.
